Dr. Miller graduated Magna Cum Laude
from Franklin & Marshall College in 1977 and obtained his Medical Degree
from the University of Pittsburgh in 1981. Before starting practice in northern New Jersey,
he completed a General Surgery internship at George Washington University Hospital
, a 4-year Orthopedic Surgery residency at Boston University Hospital,
and a 1-year Hand Surgery fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
Dr. Miller is a clinical instructor in Orthopedic Surgery at the New Jersey Medical School and is actively
involved in teaching other physicians at the Kessler Institute. Aditionally, he has published academic papers in
The Journal of Hand Surgery and
The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, and lectures frequently on various
aspects of hand surgery. He has a particular interest in the treatment of complex fractures of the forearm and wrist.
Dr. Miller is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and holds the certificate of added qualifications in
Hand Surgery. He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the New York Hand Society, the
American Medical Association (AMA), and has been named in the
Northeast Edition of The Best Doctors in America as well as among "The Best Doctors," New York Metro
Area, and "Top Doctors," New Jersey magazine.
